CFU Lodge 993's Sergeant at Arms, Laura Ellis, presents a $5,000 check to MCT's, Paul Lucas at the 2018 Annual MCT Christmas Party. We are honored to continue to help fund MCT, an amazing organization that promotes the Croatian culture through music & dance.
The annual Lodge 993 Bowling Tournament was a success! Fun was had by all, and a huge thank you to Jay's Lanes in Mukwonago for being so fabulous!
The official title belts were on the line, but both Laura Movrich Ellis and Stephen Schroeder defended their titles and extended their bowling reign for another year!
On behalf of the Milwaukee Croatian Tamburitzans, I’d like to ask you to consider supporting MCT in a particularly delicious way – ordering great Cevapcici as part of the MCT Annual Cevap Sale. We offer great, homemade cevaps prepared by Mico Jaksic, one of our parent members. These are great year round treats, but especially nice during the summer grilling season. In addition, they freeze great, so they last the entire summer.
Cookbooks are available, they are $15 each or 2/$25 and that includes shipping.
John Movrich Lodge 993 will hold its next meeting on Saturday April 13th at the Wendlandt home. We will have sausage sandwiches & potato salad at 5:30. Please bring a side dish or dessert to pass. Also please bring your ideas for a logo for the t-shirts to be sold at our 60th Annual Mukwonago Croatian Day Fest (July 13th). We had a great time at our March meeting, making our Reuben sandwiches around the grill. Our congratulations to our newest 60 year members: Paul Lucas (Jr.), Stephi Pozgay, Jane Zellmer, Mark Jurovic, and Lu Ann Anich. We have set our bowling outing and meeting for May 18th at Jays Lanes (Mukwonago). Be sure and let me know if you will be bowling with us.
Winners of the annual chili cook-off of John Movrich Lodge 993 are Laura, first place and a tie for 2nd & 3rd, between Cindy and Molly.
Members of the lodge got together and volunteered their time. The kitchen area inside the pavilion got a fresh coat of paint! With the amount of people helping out, it went pretty quick.
